Brooklyn Haugh
Brooklyn is a self-taught artist originally from Pennsylvania. She graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State before moving to Maryland for a position at a local firm in downtown Annapolis. She specializes in charcoal still-life drawings to create
powerful, high contrast compositions. Her artistic work is rooted in the exploration of realism. Fascinated by intricate details, textures, and reflections, Brooklyn’s work
often focuses on antiques, retro memorabilia, and glass.
Each piece is a study of form, light, and shadow, aimed at capturing not only physical appearance, but also essence, history, and purpose. In a world that often overlooks the beauty in the everyday, her work serves as a reminder of the elegance and significance found in the simplest of objects.
