Julie DeMar

Julie Franchimon DeMar is an award-winning artist. She has lived in the Annapolis area for forty years. Julie loves to travel; she always has her camera and sketch book with her for inspiration. She enjoys painting things that call to her. She creates one-of-a-kind original artwork for
collections in private homes and offices. Julie strives to create art that keeps giving. When you look at her art, she hopes you smile and never get tired of viewing it. Mostly self-taught, she had extensive training early in her life.
She studied at the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery, Maryland College of Art & Design, and the Corcoran School of Art.
