Background

As an artist, my focus and intention have always been to create functional items that will hold an intimate and special place in their owner’s hands and heart. I have gained the skill to create these artworks both from formal art education earning my BFA at Alfred University’s New York State College of Ceramics and from on-the-job training at Hamilton Ross Millworks in Annapolis Maryland where I am currently employed as a Shop carpenter. My actual ceramic style is known to shift and evolve as I explore concepts and imagery and texture, all while remaining whimsical, playful, and one-of-a-kind functional works.
