Rick Brady
Throughout a photography career that includes television news camera, commercial advertising, and a special niche illustrating EMS and Nursing textbooks, Rick has always looked to the Chesapeake Bay as the subject for his personal work.
Beginning with his first visit to Tilghman Island in 1975, Rick has continued to focus on the working fleets of the Chesapeake and Eastern Shore of Maryland. He now draws upon an archive of thousands of slides and negatives to scan and bring new life to the old images.
Like many area artists, Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse remains a continuing favorite subject. Rick is a lifelong Maryland resident who studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, followed by the Maryland Institute College of Art, the University of Maryland, and Anne Arundel Community College.
